Life can be messy and hard. It can also be beautiful, redemptive, and healing.
I believe that counseling can be a vital part of our life journey of reflection, healing, and growth. There are many reasons you might be seeking counseling and I look forward to sitting with you no matter what season you're in. One of my favorite Scriptures is found in Isaiah 61:3: “To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes.” I believe that in our ashes and our pain, God can redeem and create something beautiful.
Therapy with me is warm, caring, and nonjudgmental. You'll experience a safe, supportive space to heal as your authentic self emerges. I believe our past experiences don't define us, but they do have an effect on how we think, feel, and behave. I'll work alongside you in therapy, partnering together to meet your individual goals based on your unique personality and needs.
When I'm not in the office, I can be found with my husband and daughter. We're loving this season of life, learning to be parents and spending time as a family experiencing the beauty of Colorado!
Mary Dominguez is a senior counselor and Synergetic Play and Brainspotting therapist at Green Mountain Counseling. After teaching elementary school for five years in Texas, she attended Denver Seminary, earning her Masters in Clinical Mental Health in 2017. She works with women, adolescent girls, and children, and is trained in Brainspotting.
