Nicole Hunka, MA, LPCC
Child, Adolescent, and Adult Therapist
“A single sunbeam is enough to drive away many shadows” Saint Francis of Assisi
As a therapist, it is my deep joy to join you as you navigate life’s hardships and seek out healing, health, and restoration. I have personally experienced the deep relief of sharing my burdens with a trusted counselor, and I hope to foster this environment for you.
My goal as a therapist is to create a space in which you are able to be fully you. I use a collaborative approach in which we work together to craft your goals, and I tailor my therapeutic approach to your specific needs. Along the way, I am there to provide support, insight, resources, and to create a warm and peaceful environment in which you can rediscover hope and live out of your strengths.
The alliance I create with you is vital in the work of therapy, and I believe humor, trust, and kindness are all key to creating this connection. Some of us struggle with thinking our needs are not “important” or “big” enough to take to therapy, but I am here to dispel that belief! No amount of distress is too small or too large to bring into the therapy room. I am honored to walk with you through whatever you may bring to our sessions.
